Coach Parker is the current Jefferson Community College Assistant Coach and has extensive high school coaching experience at General Brown at various levels from Modified through Varsity.  Coach Parker is a 2x Section 3 assistant coach of the year. This will be Coach Parker's 5th season with Unity.  He also has club coaching experience with Rhino North Country prior to joining Unity.  Coach Parker is a former JCC and Utica College Standout.

Coach Delano returns as our 2024 coach.  Coach Delano has almost 2 decades worth of coaching at various levels from Modified through Varsity.  This will be Coach Delano's 5th season with Unity.  Coach Delano has coaching experience at modified, JV and Varsity.  He also has club coaching experience with Rhino North Country prior to joining Unity.  Coach Delano is a former SUNY Potsdam Standout.

Coach Delano is the lead coach for our skills and drills session of practice and is involved in all off season Unity lacrosse programs.

Coach Derouin returns as our 2024 assistant coach.  Coach Derouin is the current Varsity Head Coach for General Brown and also has coaching experience at the Modified and JV levels.  This will be Coach Derouin's 4th season with Unity.  Coach Derouin is a former JCC and Cortland State standout.

Background Information

Unity exists to provide affordable opportunities to competitive players who desire to excel in the sport of lacrosse and want to compete at a high level.  Our organization unites athletes from many schools while striving to exemplify UNITY as the bringing together of many to play as one and have FUN! 

Commitment

Unity Team

• 4 summer tournaments, 10-12 practices June through end of July. 

Player’s Scholastic Team

• Your number one priority should be to your school team.  Unity’s goal is to supplement scholastic teams. 

Club Team

We expect everyone who decides to participate to FULLY commit to Unity.  It’s not fair to the team for a player to miss a tournament due to commitment to another club.  We are ok with your athlete playing for another club, but priority should be with Unity.

Refund Policy: 

We have a no refund policy with limited consideration (not guaranteed) for injuries supported by doctors note.  Please read the policy on the refund policy tab.  No refund will be considered due to a players conflicting personal or athletic commitment regardless of if roster spot is backfilled.

Playing Time

Everyone who is selected to the team will play, however we do not guarantee equal playing time.  Our coaches will put us in the best position to win.

USA Lacrosse Membership

US Lacrosse membership is not required to participate with our club; however, it is strongly encouraged.  Further, it may be required by tournaments that we participate in.  Any fee required for USA Lacrosse membership is not included in the Unity registration fee.

Refund Policy is that there are no refunds, but we will consider partial refund for injuries supported by a DOCTOR'S NOTE only.  We budget according to anticipated rosters and last year we had a significant number of injuries that financially hurt us.

Consideration for injuries accompanied by doctor's note is as follows:

• Injury before June 1, that will result in missing entire summer season: 75% refund of after sponsor registration fee minus player package
• Miss 1 tournament due to injury: No Refund
• Miss 2 consecutive tournaments due to injury: $100 per tournament

All refunds will be credited to future Unity offseason event or next summer's registration fee.

No refund for any other reason besides an injury regardless of if we can backfill the roster position.
